Next week end is the official beginning of summer vacations. Many of you will have an opportunity for some rest or some travel and we wish all of you a safe and happy summer. When you travel, please remember to take God with you. There are churches all over the world and all of them will be glad to welcome you. Slava Isusu Khrystu!
I would like to thank everyone who came to pray with us last week on the occasion of the feast day of our patron saint, Saint John the Baptist and then later joined us for our parish picnic. As a rule there has to be rain on the day of our picnic but I find that people have grown used to this and wait for the rain to subside and then have a wonderful time all afternoon and evening. As always, I thank everyone who helped organize this event. |
